About the Africa Job Creation Forum

The Africa Job Creation Forum is a continental implementation and partnership platform focused on expanding decent work, productive entrepreneurship and inclusive economic opportunity across Africa.

The platform convenes governments, continental and regional institutions, the private sector, financial institutions, development partners, academia, civil society and Africa’s youth, women, MSMEs and persons with disabilities. Its purpose is to align policy with implementation, connect programmes to finance, scale successful country models and establish stronger accountability for job-creation results.

A year-round implementation cycle

Countries and partners identify priority job-creation outcomes.

Technical teams translate priorities into implementable programmes and country action compacts.

Investors, DFIs, banks, governments and philanthropic partners structure appropriate capital.

Delivery partners execute pilots, enterprise programmes and institutional reforms.

Agreed indicators track jobs, enterprise growth, investment, inclusion and market outcomes.

The annual Summit reviews progress, resolves implementation barriers and launches the next cycle.
