From Forum to Summit
Since 2023, the Africa Job Creation Forum has brought together governments, private-sector leaders, development partners, entrepreneurs and continental institutions to advance practical job-creation solutions. The 2026 edition builds on this foundation and evolves the platform into the Africa Job Creation Summit.
Inaugural Africa Job Creation Forum
Convened in Addis Ababa in connection with Africa Integration Day, the inaugural edition focused on accelerating job creation and digital and financial inclusion in the AfCFTA market. It established the platform as a space for continental dialogue, partnership and implementation.

Women, Youth, MSMEs and Digital Inclusion
The 2024 Forum advanced entrepreneurship, women and youth financial and economic inclusion, MSME digitalisation and market access. It highlighted the Sokokuu Integrated Ecosystem and included partnership announcements supporting digital and financial inclusion in Ethiopia.

The third edition took place from 7–9 July 2025 at the Adwa Victory Conference Centre in Addis Ababa. The attached concept note reports more than 1,000 participants, 20 ministers and delegates from more than 45 nationalities.
